Nick Cannon and Kanye West reportedly squashed their beef, but the Wild ‘N Out host is still ready to take Yeezy down a notch. During an appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Cannon was asked to freestyle about Kanye. During the freestyle he asserts numerous times that the two are good, but makes a point to remind 'Ye not to tell him what to say or do.

“He tried to control what I had to say/I said no way Yeezy not today/We can talk about Kim K or that KKK/Either way I’m gonna say what I gotta say,” he raps.

Their short spat began last week when Kanye addressed some problems he had with Cannon, as well as Drake and Tyson Beckford, in a series of Instagram videos. The concerns all had something to do with comments about Kim, which Cannon made during interviews on Vlad TV and Everyday Struggle. Cannon came back hot, letting 'Ye know he’s not allowed to police his interviews.

"First off, let me say: Welcome back, 'Ye, from the Sunken Place. It's a beautiful thing [...] nothing but love and respect for you. You know I've always had that," Cannon said on IG. "But I honestly gotta say this, my dude: I've never said anything disrespectful or harmful, in my opinion, to your marriage or your union; I salute it, keep it going. But you not gonna tell me what I can and what I can't say. I'm a solid individual, and if somebody asks me a question, I'm gonna answer it to the best of my ability."

Since then the two have reportedly shelved their beef, so this new freestyle appears to be a friendly jest...and a warning.

“You’re really not a God / I’m just gonna tell you, we’re all equal people and I gotta keep it like that / wait till the sequel where I let you have it again / but at the end of the day, you’re still my friend,” Nick continues.
