Kevin Spacey is being investigated for yet another sexual assault case in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, the latest case was received by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department this past Tuesday (Aug. 14).
The specifics around Spacey's most recent instance of sexual assault are currently unclear. This news follows the premier of his recent crime-drama Billionaire Boys Club managed to make only $126 at the box office on its opening day.
The downward spiral of Spacey's career began last year when Anthony Rapp and countless other men began to come forward with stories of sexual misconduct by the actor in the wake of the #MeToo movement. He was removed from his leading role on House of Cards and scratched from the cast of the Ridley Scott film All the Money in the World. Meanwhile, allegations against Spacey continued to mount over the last year that even included use of racial slurs during filming of House of Cards.
Back in April, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department rejected a previous case made against the 59-year old. He is currently being investigated for six separate instances of sexual assault in London as well. Spacey still has yet to be formally charged for any of the alleged crimes he has committed.
This post will be updated as more information becomes available regarding Spacey's new case.
