The reigning Queen of Twitter clapbacks, Chrissy Teigen, took to the social media platform to express her discontent regarding a particular Oscar-nominated film. The 2018 nominees were announced Tuesday, and there are nine films vying for Best Picture: Call Me By Your Name (swoon, Armie Hammer), Dunkirk, Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, The Shape of Water, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, Darkest Hour, and Get Out. But according to Mrs. John Legend, one of the “highly nominated movies sucks,” and “Get Out and I,Tonya should win everything.” Hmmm…

Which film could Teigen possibly be shading? The Shape of Water picked up the most nominations—13 to be exact. But Lady Bird and Call Me By Your Name picked up nominations in big categories too. Fortunately for the film in question, but unfortunately for us, John has discouraged his wife from calling any of the nominees out out by name. However, one should know better than to question Teigen’s judgement, as one Twitter user learned.

When the user claimed that Get Out was predictable, Teigen retorted, “There is literally nothing predictable about Get Out. You’re telling me the entire movie you were like ‘yeah he’s gonna be trapped in the sunken place and that woman is really a white grandma and that spoon is really gonna fuck him over at some point.’”
