Rihanna Fans Accuse Kim Kardashian of Ripping Off Fenty Puma

For Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson // It's crazy to believe that Rihanna has easily been a superstar for well over a decade now. This year alone, the Barbados goddess has made hit records with the likes of Wild Thoughts, created her own line of apparel and makeup, and has been honored with her generous philanthropic work -- even drawing the praise of Barack Obama.  Despite all of the accolades mentioned previously, it's her line of ever-so popular flip-flops that has the internet buzzing -- but not because of a new product launch, but because another power figure in pop culture may have bit the style.  Yesterday, Kim Kardashian previewed the latest drop from the TheKidsSupply and Akid collaboration, which featured nude slides with faux fur.. that look awfully similar to Rihanna's collaboration with Puma for her FENTY line.  While Rihanna didn't respond herself... her Navy definitely carried the load and went off on social media about the similarities.  "Biiih ...You gon steal Rihanna accent next?"   "We only acknowledge Rihanna's boo!" "I like RiRi's better" "Girl if you don't get these bobo ass slides... " and of course, there were plenty of GIF's... The Kardashian/Jenner crew have been accused in the past of allegedly copying ideas of other brands, and this latest move just adds fuel to the fire. Aside from Kim, Kylie Jenner is also accused of copying Rih Rih, to a degree, but instead of apparel, it's her line of makeup.  It's because recently, Kylie's promoted her cosmetics line, and it's collection of makeup for darker tones. Now mind you, Rihanna's Fenty Beauty gained immense praise from consumers for it's own blend of shades for darker tones. After facing backlash on social media, Kylie Cosmetics even deleted the initial tweet promoting their makeup for darker skin tones.  As for Kim and Rihanna, neither party has commented on the situation, but something tells me that Kim and her crew had to see the social media firestorm.  For the latest in this story and other pop culture news, keep it locked to Complex News by subscribing to us on YouTube.  For Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson
