Vado has returned with his new single “Respect the Jux” featuring Lloyd Banks and Dave East, premiering below and set to appear on his upcoming project Long Run Vol. 2.

Using a soulful sample to amplify his Harlem accent, Vado waxes poetic about his lavish lifestyle while juxtaposing it with the trenches he made it out of. Banks and East follow suit, laying verses seasoned with New York spirit and grit that’s sure to be baked in Vado’s new project.

Vado told Complex that “Respect the Jux” is not just the single for Long Run 2, but it’s also the title track for a movie he’s appearing in next year.

“’Respect the Jux’ is taken from my forthcoming project, Long Run 2, but it will also be the title track from a movie which I will appear in next year,” he said. “This is the soundtrack of the gritty NYC streets, so it’s only right I went and got two of the grittiest lyricists to join me in Lloyd Banks and Dave East; AKA Bank Matthews and Dave Hyatt. The track is produced by my fellow Harlemite ‘6 Figure Digga.’”
