Frank Ocean's Guest Appearance on Tyler, the Creator's 2011 Song "She" Was Originally Meant for Snoop Dogg

As he begins to wrap up his North American Call Me If You Get Lost Tour, Tyler, the Creator performed in Los Angeles on Thursday at Crypto.com Arena.

During the live-streamed performance, Tyler shared a story about his 2011 collaboration with Frank Ocean, “She,” revealing that he originally wrote the Goblin cut with another guest in mind.

“I originally made this beat for Snoop Dogg but I had no way to get it to him, so me and my big homie did this song, and it goes like this,” Tyler revealed before launching into a performance of the classic track.

As reported by HipHopDX, Snoop Dogg previously shared his opinion about “She” back in 2011, when he was showed the song during an interview with SMUG TV. 

“I like that,” Snoop said in the clip. “I need that. That’s hard.”

Snoop went on to share his hilarious take on Tyler, who at the time had already established himself as the frontman of Odd Future.

“That’s the one that be eating the cockroach?” Snoop asked. “Yeah, he crazy. That muthafucka crazy. He gave me some music. He from the Wild Wild West? I’m definitely fucking with him.”
