Lil Uzi Vert announced that he and JT have split.
Uzi took to Twitter on Monday, claiming the City Girls MC ended things with him over what he’s calling “dumb ass shit.” The tweet was deleted within an hour.
“Jt broke up with me over this dumb ass shit,” Uzi wrote alongside a walking-man emoji. “I don’t even do nothin FML.”
Just before sharing the news of the split, Uzi tweeted he doesn’t “understand why y’all keep tryin fuck my lil life I got going on up…damn what i do ?”
Complex has reached out to a rep for JT for comment; a rep for Lil Uzi Vert declined to comment.

Studious fans first noticed the apparent ink tribute on Lil Uzi Vert's hand thanks to behind-the-scenes shots from an upcoming Kidd G music video.
It’s unclear exactly what Uzi was referring to in his tweets, but the Shade Room reports his comments come as artist Distortedd shared an old tweet of Uzi’s about her from 2015. The tweet reads, “if you was meth, I would do it all day long.” JT, shown above via TSR, reportedly then responded to it on Twitter.
“idgaf if it was 2012 he said it was fake instead of old,” she reportedly tweeted. “& since he want to run to the internet about it here y’all go!!!!”
The news of the breakup comes less than four months after Uzi helped celebrate JT’s 29th birthday in late December. For the special day, Uzi dropped $50,000 to rent out the Nickelodeon Studios Park at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey, and gifted his significant other a McLaren.
The couple reportedly began dating in late 2019 before going public with their romance in 2021, with Uzi sharing that he loved her on Twitter. The two went on to get each other’s names tattooed on themselves. During an interview on Respectfully Justin, JT shared that on their first date, Uzi gave her a Chanel bag full of cash.
“I had a little Chanel bag and he told me to take as much as you can. I could only fit $30,000, and I was so mad,” she said. “I don’t want to keep talking because I don’t want it to seem like I’m bragging. I have a good man. I didn’t even know he was a good man. I was fucking with him for almost two years before I found out he was a good man.”
