Joe Budden has issued a response to Gillie Da Kid’s recent tweet slamming the podcast host.

“You selling ass out here for cheap… watch your mouth when you speak to or of me,” Budden tweeted above a screenshot of Gillie Da Kid’s tweet.

“After the washed Up Rap career in and out all the rehabs all the beating on Bit$hes Now u Wanna Podcast Beef. I’ll beef when u start getting sum Ad money,” Gillie tweeted on Sunday, prompting Budden’s response.

The exchange comes after the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, in which the New Jersey native took time out to diss Gillie in the latest round of beef between rappers with podcasts. In his mini-rant, Budden revealed he didn’t want to hear Gillie speak about any money, especially with his living conditions.

“I turn the fuck up when I’m feeling good in here,” Budden said. “I don’t want to hear none of that money talk from you n****s. Your headboard is covering a very small window in your primary bedroom. I can tell it’s not like that. Stop fucking playing with me in here.”

The back-and-forth also spilled over into the comments section of Akademiks’ Instagram repost of Budden’s rant. Gillie wasted no time taking another shot at Budden stating, “When dat money slow up u wanna Podcast Beef [hand in face emoji, crying laughter emoji].”

In response, Budden said: “@gilliedaking I ain’t like your lil ad speech..I took that personally [crying laughter emoji].”

It’s unclear what started this latest rift between the podcast rivals, but it may have something to do with all the commotion about rappers jumping into the podcast market. In an episode from The Joe Budden Podcast in February, Budden and N.O.R.E. spoke about rappers who tried to transition into the podcast game with little to no success.

Although Budden and N.O.R.E. didn’t explicitly say who they were talking about, Cam’ron took it upon himself last month to advise the Queens rapper to stay away from “Hoe Buddens” the “crackhead.” Budden then took shots at Cam and warned him to back off as the Dipset leader was “too sensitive” to go to war with him.
