G Herbo thinks highly of his skills.
The Chicago rapper took to his Instagram Stories this week to applaud his abilities. “I might be 1 of the best rappers alive,” he on his IG Stories. “Lol nbs doeee don’t @ me 😒.”
While many of you may be deciding whether or not 26-year-old Herb’s statement is cap, Complex named him one of the 20 best rappers in their 20s right now.
“G Herbo’s latest album, 25, is a celebration of hitting the quarter-century mark, and another confessional project where he explores his life and times,” writer Andre Gee said. “In between those spectrums, the album is a lyrically deft showcase of his immense talent. … G Herbo is right in the middle of his 20s, and if his latest album is any indication, he should have a spot secured on this list for the next four years.”
Herb’s 25 arrived last summer with features from Polo G, 21 Savage, Gunna, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Tjay, and the Kid Laroi. His latest declaration comes shortly after he dropped “Locked In,” an anthem for his late brother Gregory “Lil Greg” Jackson.
