Fred again.. continues his strong run.

A month after delivering his “Jungle” track, the London-born artist gifted fans with “Turn on the Lights Again”—a collaborative banger with Swedish House Mafia and featuring Future. Fred played the track during a Boiler Room session broadcast from London, and was immediately taken aback by the positive feedback it received.

Fred recently told fans he intended to drop his third studio album sooner, but chose to delay its release so he could finish the new record and release it as soon as possible.

“Arite so parrrrt of the reason I had to push back AL3 is cos of the nuts reaction to ‘Turn on the Lights’ that just made me wanna finish it and get that shit ouuutttttt,” he wrote on social media.

The song samples Future’s 2012 cut “Turn on the Lights” and will likely appear on Fred’s Actual Life 3, the follow-up to his 2021 studio album Actual Life 2. The project, which has yet to receive an official release date, is expected to include the aforementioned “Jungle,” co-produced by Four Tet.
