Fetty Wap has returned with his new mixtape, The Butterfly Effect.

According to Revolt, the featureless, 17-track project is a tribute to his four-year-old daughter, Lauren, who passed away in June due to a cardiac arrhythmia caused by complications from congenital cardiac anomalies. She was diagnosed with the health issue at birth.

Though other artists don’t make guest appearances on the project, Fetty did work with new producers Chopsquad DJ and Great John; while also including FrankGotThePack, Brian “Peoples” Garcia, Shyboogs, and CezBeats.

“I believe everything the way is supposed to be / I suggest that you be easy before approaching me, ooh / I got wings, I believe I can fly baby,” he sings over a sobering guitar riff on the opening track, “Intro.”

The Butterfly Effect follows a slew of mixtapes the New Jersey rapper shared last year: You Know the Vibes, Big Zoovie, and Trap & B. Fetty has also recently hopped on a number of songs, including DJ Young Fly’s “Fly & Fetty,” “Leck” with KDDK and Imanbek, “Jamaica” with Jay Burna, and more.
