Fresh off dropping “Iffy,” the lead single from his upcoming 10th studio album Breezy, Chris Brown returns with his latest offering, “WE (Warm Embrace).”
Produced by Don City, the track sees Breezy go back to his R&B roots, as he samples Guy’s ’90s hit “Let’s Chill.”
“I can see your mind is overworked, boo/Tension in your body when I touch you/Girl, you deserve it I’m gon’ make every second of this worth it/Love how you do everything you do with a purpose, babe,” Brown croons on the slow jam.
Brown’s latest single arrives nearly three years after the release of his last solo project, 2019’s Indigo. Both “Iffy” and “WE (Warm Embrace) are set to appear on the 32-year-old singer’s forthcoming LP, Breezy.
Breezy will mark Brown’s first full-length project since his 2020 collaborative album with Young Thug, Slime & B. Although the past year came and went without a new solo project from Chris, he stayed busy by delivering guest features for a wide range of artists, from H.E.R. to the late Pop Smoke to Wale
