Bryson Tiller surprised fans on Sunday by dropping the sequel to his 2011 Halloween mixtape Killer Instinct.

Arriving a decade after the original, Killer Instinct 2: The Nightmare Before runs for 28 minutes, featuring 13 tracks that find the R&B crooner flip recent hits like Brent Faiyaz’s “Gravity,” NBA YoungBoy’s “Lil Top” (“On Top”), Normani’s “Wild Side” (“Are You Listening”), and Chris Brown’s “Heat” (“Keep It Simple”).

The new tape marks Tiller’s first full-length offering since releasing the deluxe version of his 2020 album Anniversary back in February. Last month, the Louisville native revealed that he’s busy working on multiple new albums, one of which is already finished.

“Celebrating the Anniversary with you guys last year really helped me fall back in love with making music…because to be honest, for a while there I really didn’t want to be bothered with anything music related,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “My grandmother’s passing took me by surprise and made me realize I really can’t be stagnant out here and that I MUST keep moving no matter WHAT.

Tiller added, “Get ready for the album(s) (one of which is finished).”
