After making waves last year with his breakthrough mixtapeUnderrated, rising Memphis rapper Big Boogie returns with his latest full-length offering Definition of Big Dude.

The 14-track tape features the previously released single “Twelve Four,” as well as one guest appearance from Fat Trel, who appears on “P*ssy Monster.”

The CMG artist took to Instagram on Monday to celebrate the imminent release of Definition of Big Dude, as Boogie thanked his family, friends, and fans for their support.

“I’m so proud of myself and I know a million more are,” he wrote. “My support and flowers is all I want from everyone. I don’t need anything from nobody but that.”

Since signing to CMG in November 2020, Boogie has released three projects: that year’s Final Nightmare, 2021’s Underrated, and 2022’s deluxe edition of the latter. Additionally, the upstart appeared on a few tracks (“Buss Down,” “KeKe,” “Meant Dat”) on last summer’s CMG compilation album Gangsta Art.

Last year, Boogie spoke with HipHopDX about signing with the label, and shed some light on how he hopes to bring “different flavors” to the mix.

“I’m bringing different flavors and a whole different vibe to it,” he shared. “CMG never had no artist that do what I do. [I] dance on stage. They got the energy. Some got energy, some don’t. Some of them laid back, some just talking their shit. Some of them just let their image just rock the stage. Then go me, I come with the whole full-back with it. That’s just the cherry on top of the whole thing.”

Stream Big Boogie’s new mixtape Definition of Big Dude now on all major platforms.
