Miley Cyrus is prepping for the MTV VMAs this weekend, but ahead of her hosting duties for the show, she made some interesting comments regarding the Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift situation in regards to the show. In the New York Times interview, Miley sent shots directly at Nicki, while saying that she thought Nicki's critique of the awards made it seem like it was all about her. "You made it about you. Not to sound like a bitch, but that’s like, “Eh, I didn’t get my V.M.A," Cyrus said.

Obviously, Nicki was just voicing her opinions on the VMAs and the snub of the "Anaconda" video, which ultimately led Swift to jump in, and later apologize. Miley says that she thinks there was a better way Nicki could have brought up the topic of race in the matter, and then oddly gave advice on how Nicki Minaj could have brought up the subject.

Miley continued on about Nicki and how she didn't think it was very polite how Nicki handled it. She also said that the escalation of the beef with Taylor shifted the talk from Nicki's original point, which is actually something that Nicki couldn't control anyways.
