Sheck Wes Bags His First Top 10 Hit on Billboard Hot 100 Chart

"Mo Bamba" is here to stay, and for good reason. It's f*cking inspiring as hell.

"Mo Bamba," fairly inarguably one of the most compellingly cranked songs of the year, is now a certified Billboard smash.

The Sheck Wes breakthrough, already designated platinum by the RIAA, has now entered the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The MUDBOY rattler that honestly never gets old jumped from No. 16 to No. 10 on the most recent chart update, thanks in large part to its exponential streaming success. The song also extended its domination over the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales rankings, enjoying boosts of 15 percent and 46 percent, respectively.

See both "Mo Bamba" and "Live Sheck Wes," two of the fun-as-fuckest live songs you'll ever hear, in action below:

Speaking on how “everything” has to come from the heart to really capture bangers of this stature during an interview with Pigeons & Planes earlier this year, Wes said the process behind both "Mo Bamba" and "Live Sheck Wes" was not only similar, it inspired him to retool his approach moving forward.

"Everything you do gotta come from your heart," he said back in February. "I remember when I did 'Live SheckWes, Die SheckWes,' and when I did 'Mo Bamba,' I one-taked those because it came from my heart. I try to one-take all my songs now, even if I do my verse and I fuck up, I'm gonna do the whole verse over."

For his new video for fellow MUDBOY highlight "Wanted," Wes returned to the black-and-white vibes of the "Mo Bamba" video. White Trash Tyler co-directed. See the brilliant results below.
