"Can't believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms," Rihanna said. "Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body."

The Guardian pointed out that there was a shooting victim identified as 21-year-old Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne by local news outlets. In her Instagram post, Rihanna tagged @merka_95 but did not mention his name. An investigation is ongoing.

Tavon was reportedly walking by a track near his home in St. Michael around 7 p.m. local time when he was shot "multiple times." The unidentified suspect fled the scene.
