For his timely new single "I Don't Even Know You Anymore," artist/producer NETSKY has enlisted the guest star mastery of Lil Wayne and Bazzi.

As NETSKY explained in a press release announcing the track's wide release Thursday, the final version of the Palmtrees & Powerlines collab is actually the result of working through multiple iterations until Weezy came through with the finish flourishes.

"As soon as I heard Bazzi's topline I knew it was special," NETSKY said. "We ended up doing a few different versions of the song before we found the production that felt perfect. It turns out it had always been a dream of both of ours to work with Lil Wayne and we couldn't think of anyone we'd rather have to jump on the track and complete the song. I'm excited for the world to hear what we've done together."

Fittingly, NETSKY marked the new song's release with a curated selection of anti-Valentine's Day cards:

Palmtrees & Powerlines is designed as a two-part project, with Palmtrees centered in pop and Powerlines concerned more with club-friendly cuts.

"I Don't Even Know You Anymore" is far from the first new dose of 2019 Weezy. Last month, he joined Busta Rhymes and DJ Kay Slay on "They Want My Blood" and dropped off his I Ain't Shit Without You Tour doc. Last year, of course, saw the (extremely) long-awaited release of the fifth entry in his Tha Carter franchise.
