Across eight episodes, Infamous—narrated by Angie Martinez—will chronicle the life and career of the controversy-ridden artist 6ix9ine.

The Complex and Spotify collaboration sees the story of 6ix9ine—real name Daniel Hernandez—told in chronological order, dating all the way back to the release of his first song and time spent as a deli counter employee in Bushwick.

The eight-part docuseries premieres Jan. 28 and will debut a new episode weekly on Tuesdays exclusively on Spotify, all promising a deep dive into the artist's rise and fall.

"Tekashi has a polarizing personality and his story has taken us on a roller coaster ride like nothing we’ve ever seen in hip-hop," Martinez said in a statement on Tuesday. "So, when Complex reached out with this project, I was excited about the opportunity to help tell this story."

Following the resolution of 6ix9ine's racketeering and firearms case, he's on the hook for a pair of new albums.

As founder and CEO of 10K Projects Elliot Grainge explained to Varietyearlier this month, his decision to ink a new deal with the Dummy Boy artist merely marks an "opportunity" for him to make certain choices.

"Knowing him like I do, since he was [called] Daniel Hernandez, I wouldn't be doing a good job as a human, let alone a label head, if I didn't try to help him," Grainge said. "I'm not giving 6ix9ine a second chance, just an opportunity. The rest is up to him. The artist himself has to make those choices."
