Free concert tickets for life is, no question about it, the only perk of being doomed to an excruciating existence as a bug. For at least one lucky mosquito in Australia, this year's free shows agenda included a rousing performance from recent Album of the Year recipient Adele.
Adele's recent performance in Brisbane was rudely interrupted by at least one mosquito seeking blood, Mashablereported Monday. "I'm sorry, I'm not Australian," Adele joked with the audience. "I don't like bugs." According to the 25 artist, the mosquito was "sucking my blood, it was sucking my blood!" Here's the bleep-free version of the video:

As terrifying as a mosquito most certainly is, a much-anticipated concert could be interrupted by much worse. For example, at least we don't have narcissistic snakes or petulant spiders waltzing out in the middle of shows we paid a lot of money to see.
Last month, Adele's 25 beat out Beyoncé's Lemonade and Justin Bieber's Purpose for the Album of the Year award at the Grammys. In her acceptance speech, Adele called Beyoncé the artist of her life. "This album to me, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental, Beyoncé, so monumental, and so well thought out and beautiful and soul-bearing," she said. "We all got to see another side to you that you don't always let us see. And we appreciate that, and all us artists here fucking adore you."
