If there's one thing we can count on Funkmaster Flex for, it's no-holds-barred honesty. Diddy said in a video posted on Tuesday that he thinks rap is becoming oversaturated and full of artists "saying the same things in different ways." Flex took it even further and talked about rappers he can't stand. "So many wack rappers out here!!!!!" Flex said in his re-posted Diddy video's caption. "If u think a rapper is wack @ them right now!!!"

While Diddy's original video was more of a chill observation, Funk Flex jumped on Instagram to not only share the video but ask his followers to call out "wack rappers." He even tagged several rappers he thinks deserve the distinction, including Lil Yachty, Nicki Minaj, Lil Pump, and G-Eazy. Lil Yachty even went out of his way to do a quick back-and-forth with Flex on the comments section. "[D]on't start with me flex," Yachty says, to which Flex responds by referencing "Ice Tray," as HotNewHipHop points out. Although he wasn't called out by Flex, Trippie Redd also butted in to defend himself.

Naturally, his first post got plenty of pushback from fans of the artists he mentioned, but it's pretty apparent that Flex is unapologetic. "Wack rappers always have an expiration date," he said in a tweet he later shared on Instagram. "They get replaced by the next wack one."
