Cassidy has a warrant out for his arrest in New Jersey, according to TMZ.

The "Hotel" rapper was set to appear in court last week following his 2017 arrest for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia but failed to show up, and a warrant was issued as a result. What's worse, there are already two additional warrants out for him from other charges, which will probably add a few more complications to the mix.

Last November, police claim there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from Cassidy's vehicle while he was parked in front of his own home. Authorities later searched the car and turned up a spliff, grinder, and bag of weed inside the vehicle, leading to him being arrested and charged. When he was arrested, police also realized he had two additional warrants, and set up separate court dates for the new and old charges.

Despite not showing up to court the Philly rapper seems to be active on social media.

It appears that the charges were going to be settled relatively quickly and Cassidy could have possibly avoided jail time, but not appearing in court is likely not a good place to start.

Cassidy released his debut studio album Split Personality back in November of 2010. The project boasted features from Game, Mya, and others.
