Following up the release of his latest album Book of Ryan, Royce Da 5'9" drops off another track—the Schoolboy Q-assisted "Cut Throat."
While the final cut of the album included features from the likes of Eminem, J. Cole, and Pusha T, it was also supposed to include the TDE member. Back on the album's release date, the Detroit rapper revealed that the song was recorded last minute and had to be left off due to sample clearing issues, but that he was going to find out how to release it in the future.
A week later, the track is now available for streaming on Spotify. However, a glance at the tracklist would make it seem otherwise. Despite "Cut Throat" not being listed on the 21-track deluxe version of the album, the song will begin to play when the track "Caterpillar Remix" is selected. While the error doesn't seem to be resolved just yet, fans can peep the newly released "secret" track via the player below.
Royce Da 5'9" is also scheduled to kick off the seven-city PRhyme 2 Tour with legendary producer DJ Premier on May 30 for their collaborative project of the same name.
