Wifisfuneral just dropped the Ethernet mixtape, which includes the Palm Beach-based rapper’s recent “Genesis,” “Knots,” and “Juveniles” tracks—which were all thoroughly well-received.

In terms of content, this new 12-track effort is largely comprised of Wifi’s struggle with fame, drug use, and the braggadocio expected of an up-and-coming MC. Ethernet’s production is helmed by Cris Dinero, Jahlil Beats, Ronny J, Smash David, and a few other talented beatmakers.

The 21-year-old Florida rapper started by amassing a following on SoundCloud, and within one year has managed to debut his When Hell Falls mixtape at No. 17 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts. He also jumped on the DJ Mustard-produced Comethazine joint, “Sticks.” Last month, the dude performed on the main stage at Rolling Loud 2018. That’s an impressive come-up.

Wifi doesn’t break a sweat when it comes to switching up his flow, either, as he can shift from a trap beat on “Been 2 Hell & Back” to a more minimalist tune like “Every Pill in the World” and bring the house down with “Juveniles.” That latter song, by the way, garnered over four million streams and 2.6 million video views—in a mere two weeks since its release.

“Genesis,” meanwhile, racked up over two million combined streams, while Wifi managed to get Curren$y for the “25 Lighters” remix. Wifisfuneral has nearly a million monthly Spotify listeners, and over 500,000 social media followers across platforms. The dude has arrived, and if his work ethic and artistic talent is any indication (hint: it is), he’s here to stay.

Listen to Ethernet now on SoundCloud, Spotify, or iTunes.
