Eminem Asks Boston Calling Crowd If They Want to See Him Date Nicki Minaj

Em is keeping the relationship troll going by asking fans if they'd like to see the two date.

Eminem addressed the Nicki Minaj dating story last night by asking the Boston Calling crowd if he should date her, that he surely wants to, and jokingly telling Nicki that he’ll be home tonight.

Last week, a fan commented on Nicki’s Instagram video, in which she was rapped her verse on YG’s “Big Bank” and mentioned Eminem. When asked if the two were dating, Nicki responded with a simple “yes."

Em eventually hopped on her IG with his own response to that question. “Girl you know it’s true,” he wrote. A live performance, though, gives you the kind of crowd interaction and camera-phone attention you might need to keep this trolling going like you want it to—which is exactly what Em did.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The fact that he’s silly & a goof just like me😩. Love him so much. Em we need you on the #Queen album. That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse. 😭🤣😩😭😭 https://t.co/iFYi0OlzXQ

“Let me make sure so I can actually make this official,” said Em. “How many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj? Well goddamn it, me too!” The crowd erupted in cheers. “Yo, hold on. Nicki, if you get this message just text me later, we’ll talk about it.” Fortunately for fans of both Nicki and Em, this is now turning into one of the most unexpected, frankly hilarious bits of superstar trolldom we’ve ever seen. Nicki even tweeted about this last night and you can almost hear the smile in her voice when you read this.

“Em we need you on the Queen album,” she wrote in reference to her upcoming album, which was just pushed back to August. “That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse.” Nicki clearly loves Em like most of us do, but has that extra layer of affection due to her being a fellow artist who admires him. It’s endearing to see her stan out, but do so in a comedic way—and to have Em actually engage with this on a highly public platform.
