The date for Nicki Minaj’s highly-anticipated album Queen has been pushed back to Aug. 10. Its original release date was June 15.

While she was originally supposed to make the announcement on Wednesday, she waited until Thursday to address her fans via Instagram Live. “You guys, after careful consideration, I’ve decided to do my announcement tmrw when most of my fans all around the world are wide awake. A lot of them are asleep right now due to it being like 3 or 4 in the morning in their various countries. Let’s do 3pm EST tomorrow. ♥️you,” she Tweeted on Wednesday night.

Minaj tweeted Queen’s new release date on Thursday, “8|10|18 #Queen.”

During her Instagram Live session, Minaj also discussed her charity Student of the Game, where she pays off loans for her followers. She revealed that immediately following her Instagram Live video, she will give away about $25,000 to $50,000 to her followers.

On Tuesday night, Minaj, 2 Chainz, YG, and Big Sean all posted the same Instagram video, teasing a forthcoming collaborative song rumored to be titled "Big Bank," produced by DJ Mustard. The video features YG getting out of his white G-wagon, as he dances to the song and tosses stacks of money into the air.
