Apparently, Nicki Minaj and Eminem are letting people believe they're an item after a fan asked Nicki directly if they're dating in an Instagram comment, TMZ reports.
Nicki posted a clip of herself rapping her verse on YG's single "Big Bank," which features her along with 2 Chainz and Big Sean. "Told them I met Slim Shady, bag the Em/ Once he go black, he'll be back again," she raps on the song, which lead one user to think the link was literally about bagging Eminem instead of, you know, just wordplay. "You dating Eminem???" the fan commented, to which Nicki replied simply, "yes."
Eminem would later hop in the comments to add his own confirmation. "Girl you know it's true," he wrote. Nicki would respond on the same comment thread, even implying upcoming wedding bells. "Babe, I thought we were gonna keep it on the low til the wedding," she wrote. "Yikes. I'll talk to you when I get home."
Considering their collaboration on Nicki's Pink Friday track, "Roman's Revenge" still holds up pretty well, the romantic matchup might actually work better than we think.
This would be, of course, the perfect distraction fro the fact that her upcoming album Queen has been pushed back to August. If they're not joking, it wouldn't be the first time Nicki has dated a fellow rapper. After her super long-term relationship with Safaree ended in 2014, Nicki went on to date Meek Mill and Nas, a relationship that reportedly ended at the start of 2018.
