Coming straight outta Toronto’s underground, 18-year-old LB Spiffy is a rising star and once again proving he’s one to watch with his latest music video “Not Lyin.” Just a few days after dropping the lyric video for the track (which we named one of the best Canadian songs of February), he’s gone all out in an Orazio-directed psychedelic neon trip replete with floating chairs, dollar bills, and a wild night out. The tune’s already garnered 30.8K streams on Spotify alone, while the lyrics video’s notched over 187K views.

“We've been sitting on ‘Not Lyin’ for a minute and I’m mad excited to drop the official video for the fans,” says the rapper, who hails from Toronto’s Jane and Finch area. “I want them to go crazy to this. We got a lot more on the way."

“Not Lyin” is the latest in a string of bangers from LB, whose profile has been rising fast and furiously. Earlier this year, Kylie Jenner posted on Instagram story with his number “Situations” bumping in the background, while Drake showed love for his single “My Phone” by singing along to it in a video posted on social media.

Not bad stuff for a teenager. It’s nice to see representation in the Canadian music industry from artists of all ages, especially the younger ones with personable stories and fresh flows. If LB is anything to go by, the kids are alright.
