The dynamic duo of Nicholas Craven and Roc Marciano have returned with their latest collaboration “1000 Mile Stare.”

Over a woozy instrumental featuring Craven’s signature soulful looping, Roc raps slowly over the beat, taking his time as he describes his ascent in the game, as well as flexes his wealth and “beyond the GOAT” status in rap.

“Roc Marciano’s music modernized a classic way to produce hip-hop beats and inspired a generation of crate diggers to approach production differently,” Craven told Complex. “Perfecting my craft in hopes of working with artists like him was the goal. Now that I’m working with Roc, our common goal is to constantly outdo our previous work. The beat selection process is meticulous and once we have the right beat, the results surpass expectations.”

Craven has emerged in recent years as one of Griselda’s most reliable producers. He recently crafted a track for side B of Westside Gunn’s latest work Hitler Wears Hermes 8 (“RIP Bergdorf”), as well as a track on Mach-Hommy’s Pray for Haiti (“Kriminel”) earlier this year.

Craven’s next release is set to be the track “Bandoleros” from the upcoming Ransom and Rome Streetz project Coup De Grâce, which drops Oct. 29. Ransom spoke teased the album in a post on Instagram, unveiling the project’s cover art. “Me & @romestreetz undoubtedly have AOTY with this,” he wrote.

In addition to that, Craven is hard at work on his next solo venture. His album Craven N 3 is set to drop in early 2022 and will feature Stove God Cooks, Boldy James, Navy Blue, and more.
