Toronto rappers Top5 and Burna Bandz may both be in jail right now but that hasn't stopped them from getting a picture together.
Yesterday, Top5 posted a picture of him and Burna Bandz posing in jail as they hold phones close to their ears. Top5 also took a swipe at his hometown in the caption.
"This shittt like the four seasons," Top5 wrote. 'Don’t worry I’ll be back to turn this dead city up."
Top5 was arrested in California for allegedly shooting Hashim Omar Hashi, a 20-year-old man from Toronto, back in 2021. According to the Toronto Sun, Top5 was extradited from the U.S. in Feb. 2022, and was charged with first-degree murder and three counts of failure to comply with recognizance.
Burna Bandz, on the other hand, was convicted for recklessly discharging firearms toward Highway 401 during fellow rapper Houdini's vigil, according to the Toronto Star. An article from The London Free Press also states that Burna Bandz had been sentenced to four years and 10 months in prison for the robbery of a Southwestern Ontario medical marijuana facility.
In June, Top5 released a music video for his song "21 Questions" with G Herbo that saw the incarcerated rapper film his scenes from jail.
