Megan Thee Stallion's latest single "Cobra" was already hard-hitting but the Houston rapper has followed it up with a rock remix assisted by Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox.

"We love you Megan, it was an honor to collab with you," the Canadian band commented on Instagram.

While the original version incorporated aggressive strings, the remix is exponentially more explosive.

It also features new lyrics from Spiritbox's vocalist Courtney LaPlante in the chorus where she sings, "Leave me alone in the dark / I am shedding my skin / I need to harden my heart / To protect myself but the pain remains within."

The remix also came with a brand-new visualizer.

The song saw Megan take shots at a previous partner where she rapped, "Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, gettin’ his d**k sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin'."

Many fans then speculated that her ex Pardison Fontaine was the person whom she was referencing.

Fontaine responded, though very slyly, by posting Future's "it's an evil world we live in" meme and an image of Tristan Thompson laughing.
