BadBadNotGood and Charlotte Day Wilson released their jazzy new collaboration "Sleeper" today.

Despite its release today, fans who attended the All Points East music festival in London over the summer could have gotten a sneak peek at the track when they premiered it.

“‘Sleeper’ wrote itself…we were in the studio just messing around and the guys came up with the colorful instrumental while I freestyled the lyrics," Day Wilson said in a press release. "The song portrays someone who chooses the path of least resistance and finds themselves in a lifeless, loveless relationship.”

The breezy track allows Day Wilson's gentle vocals to soar thanks to soothing production from the Toronto jazz ensemble.

"Sleeper" marks the latest addition to the ever-growing list of collaborations between BadBadNotGood and Day Wilson.

They had collaborated on songs like "In Your Eyes," and "I Can Only Whisper," the latter of which appeared on Day Wilson's Alpha album.

Fans of Daniel Caesar also got to hear the track slightly earlier than the rest. Last Friday, Caesar performed in Toronto and, as scheduled, brought out Day Wilson and BadBadNotGood who performed "Sleeper."
