Daniel Caesar went all out for his hometown crowd on Friday on his Superpowers Tour show at Scotiabank Arena.

The sold out crowd was treated to a guest appearance by Mustafa. The two linked up on "Toronto 2014" on Caesar's Never Enough album, which dropped earlier this year, and they played the song together live. Mustafa is also back: he's dropping new single "Name of God" tomorrow.

"This song is very near and dear to my heart," Caesar told the crowd before introducing Mustafa.

Caesar also had some special openers outside of the regular ones for the tour, with Charlotte Day Wilson and BadBadNotGood performing as well.

He may have gone too hard at the hometown show, as Caesar was subsequently forced to cancel his Washington, DC show on Oct. 15 due to sickness.

"I am in no condition to be able to perform the show you deserve," he said on his IG.
