Update: Partynextdoor posted on IG that he’s dropping “Her Old Friends” tonight.
A few things are guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and artists deleting their entire Instagram feed when new music is on the way. Partynextdoor is the latest artist to go about that third route and has wiped his Instagram, hinting that he may be close to dropping something new.
Though Party’s latest song came in the form of a recent Diddy collaboration called “Sex In The Porsche,” the Mississauga native hasn’t released a full-length album as the lead artist since his 2020 album Partymobile.
However, in late December, Party teased a new song on Instagram live, making it the first time he hinted toward new music in months.
Adding fuel to the Instagram deletion fire is Party changing his profile picture to a new logo.
On Twitter, OVO Sound teased much more music from its entire roster for 2023.
“New Sound All ‘23,” they wrote.
Of course, all this is still speculation and Party hasn’t officially announced any new music, but all signs point to something new dropping in the near future.
