Fresh from accompanying Drake on his It's All A Blur tour, Toronto rapper and OVO affiliate TVGucci is back with music of his own, dropping the single and video for "Strictly" featuring Diplomats legend Jim Jones.
It's the first single from TVGucci's upcoming third studio album Bigger Screen.
The Jane Street rapper went down to Harlem to shoot the video with Jones, which was directed, shot, and edited by Mazi. The video was meant to show that TVGucci's home and Jones' have a lot in common.
"Strictly" marks Jones' first time working with an OVO affiliate. Jones was also on the Sneaker of the Year panel at this year's ComplexCon.
TVGucci is no stranger to the music industry, but only dropped his debut single “TLVSD” in 2017. He then went on to release his first album TLVSD the Series in 2018. In addition to touring with his longtime pal Drake, he's hit the road and other OVO artists such as DVSN.
He's also been referened a number of times by Drake in songs over the years, and on Jan 1 released the video for "Bora Bora," which was directed by Drake.
