Last September, Taylor Swift stopped by the Clive Davis Theater inside the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles to perform several songs from her catalog. The once-private showcase was held in celebration of her attendance record-breaking exhibit within the museum. After a string of five sold-out shows at LA's Staples Center for her 1989 tour, in addition the the 11 sold-out gigs she has played there prior, a commemorative display was in order. This Grammy Museum exhibit is an additional honor, as there is also a permanent banner that now hangs in the Staples Center among the Lakers' and Sparks' championship banners, presented to Taylor by Kobe Bryant, of course.
Swift prefaced her acoustic performance with the backstory for the hit single, which included being called a "psycho serial dater girl" by the media and how she used that to her advantage. Just after the release of her newest music video for "Out of the Woods," Swifties now have a selection of intimate Grammy Museum videos to click through. #Blessed.
