Mac Miller would have turned 28 today.

On September 7, 2018, Miller died of an accidental drug overdose from counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl. His contributions to music continues to live on through the posthumous album Circles, which was completed with the help of Jon Brion, who worked with Miller on his fifth studio project Swimming. His memory also lives on through the people who knew him, and on Sunday, many of his peers and those closest to the artist took the time to remember him on the day he would've been celebrating his 28th birthday.

HNHH reports that Miller's ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande posted a simple message on Twitter stating "miss u," which has since been deleted.
