Kanye West on the Saint Pablo Tour: "It's Going to Be the Best Time They've Had in Their Life"

Kanye West opened up about the making of the Saint Pablo Tour and making it the best time fans will have in their life.

Kanye West's Saint Pablo Tourkicked off in Indianapolis Thursday night and proved to be a stunning new kind of concert experience that included a floating stage swaying over the crowd as they watched from below.

"I want people to come to the Pablo shows and know it's just going to be the best time they've had in their life," Kanye toldE! News' Ken Baker in a recent sit down. As a rapper who is always trying to innovate and give his fans a new experience, the Saint Pablo Tour, which will see him bring his The Life of Pablo album to life, is no exception. In fact, the idea took at least eight months of planning to execute successfully with Kanye traveling around the world to meet with the best stage designers.

"I just wanted people to get into it and have a fun time. Make it not be just about watching the artist but people watching their friends and singing along with the lyrics and just being able to see themselves and their outfits," Kanye explained. "Take the concert experience to another level. It's not just about what you're seeing on the screen or what you're seeing me doing up on the stage, but what you and your friends are doing."

Ultimately, the concert experience is something that Kanye views as an opportunity to connect with his fans and give them a very special experience that they can't get anywhere else. "This is a field where I can really really express my...I can stretch my hands, like the song says, "Father Stretch My Hands." I can stretch out in this arena and really give the crowd they hadn't seen before." Watch Kanye explain the tour in his own words above and check out what went down on the first night of tour here.
