Following her departure from Crystal Castles last year, Alice Glass has released her first solo song entitled "Stillbirth." Brash and blistering, the song instantly unleashes an attack on the senses that is simultaneously inspiring and awe-striking. In a statement on her website, Alice explains that the song co-written by herself and Jupiter Keyes in their basement was born out of the experience of an abusive relationship she was involved in and her subsequent healing process. "I speak out now hoping that I can encourage other young women and young men to affirm their value within their relationships or get out." Released independent of any label, the song's proceeds will benefit organizations "that help survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and incest. You can donate directly to them at donate.rainn.org or via the link on my website at www.alice-glass.com."

Listen to "Stillbirth" below and look for it to be released on iTunes and Spotify tomorrow. You can read Alice's full statement about the song on her website.
