After the well-executed one-two punch of mixtapes Rise Above Hate and Adolescence, Unknown T has now released his debut album, Blood Diamond.

There has been talk of an album proper coming our way for a few months now. There was a sense that something was on the way when he dropped off warm-up singles “Welcome 2 My Strip” with ODUMODUBLVCK, “Adolescence” with Digga D, and “Right Hand” with Knucks—plus “PASSA” and “Hard Life” with Scribz Riley from Before The Smoke before officially confirming the news in late November.

Alongside the new album, T also revealed the video for “Hocus Pocus” with Loyle Carner, an ultra-polished affair from director Felix Brady that sets futuristic cityscapes and comic book flourishes against the duo’s classic hip-hop sparring.

Also featured on the album are Scribz Riley, Tianna Major9, Knucks, and T’s #98s teammates. Production-wise, it’s an equally varied but much larger cast, including Chucks, R14, Tizzle, Shevy Deal, Honeywoodxix, Nastylgia, JAE5, Dom Valentino, Nick Mills, LiTek, WhyJay, EY, EMIL, Beat Butcha, Remedy, That Producer Ryan, Eyes, Young Chencs, Itchy, Madara, Carns Hill, Ron ADG, TK The Producer, Jester, James Maddocks, AyeTM, Sean Murdz and Jacob Manson.
