Dancehall-R&B singer Amaria BB has been laying the groundwork for years.

From competing on talent shows such as Got What It Takes? (which she won) and The Voice Kids to appearances at festivals like Strawberries & Creem and breakthrough releases on Black Butter and Columbia, it’s all been leading to this moment: the release of her debut mixtape, 6.9.4.2.

Smooth and seductive from the get-go, it’s the ideal calling card for the East London native’s sound, pairing her alluring, patois-laden R&B vocals with the gentle swing of the dancehall productions.
