Anycia denies that her viral wedding stunt with boyfriend 4Batz meant they'd gotten hitched.
The Atlanta rapper fessed up during a recent stream with internet personality Jourdin Pauline, just one week after the wedding-themed music video for 4Batz's "act xxiii: let’s press play" dropped. In the video, the real-life couple is depicted as having an elaborate wedding among guests before riding off into the night.
"I am not married, y'all. It was for a music video," Anycia told Pauline's Twitch viewers. "And understand this: First of all, y'all gon' piss me off because why would y'all think it would be that simple?"
She continued, "First of all, y'all gon' see the proposal, y'all gon' see the bridal shower, y'all gon' see everything. I understand some people wanna be intimate and go to the courthouse. Not me. I don't."
The "Never Need" rapper ended by saying she needs a "dramatic" wedding. "I need a really, really crazy wedding."
Anycia concluded by calling the music video wedding "fake," although she plans for 4Batz to marry her "forreal."
Multiple pictures from the video shoot circulated on social media earlier this month, and in one Instagram post, 4Batz wrote, "The biggest day of my life."
