Writing the song specifically for this film, Scott mirrors the edgy, sci-fi vibe of Tenet. The track also marks the first time Travis Scott has worked in writing film music, teaming up with Oscar award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson.

In conjunction with the soundtrack single dropping, there will also be an exclusive new look at Tenet that will air during NBA on TNT on Friday night.

In an interview Scott recently had with GQ that released on Tuesday, there is a brief quote from Nolan where he describes how this song was the missing piece of the puzzle for the movie's score.

"His voice became the final piece of a yearlong puzzle," the director told GQ. "His insights into the musical and narrative mechanism [composer] Ludwig Göransson and I were building were immediate, insightful, and profound."

In that same interview, Scott also alluded to "some fireness" that might be on the way from him and Kid Cudi in the near future. As another treat for his Ragers fans, Scott dropped off a limited-edition 'Tenet' T-shirt. The tee, which features the film's screen prints and puff print details, is designed by Cactus Jack and available for 24 hours only at shop.travisscott.com.

In the meantime, you can listen to Travis Scott's new song "The Plan" off of the soundtrack for Christopher Nolan's Tenet down below. Tenet is set to release in U.S. theaters on Sept. 3.
