Shy Glizzy and EST Gee join forces for the DC rapper’s new song “Borderline,” which also comes with cinematic visuals featuring both rappers.

Shy Glizzy sounds unimpressed with the current crop of rappers on the new song. The video follows him and Gee plotting a robbery as they count the riches they’ve already obtained. Directed by Jerry Morka and shot by No More Heroes, the scenes in the visuals shift from a bank robbery to Glizzy and Gee spitting atop a burning vehicle after the successful heist. Gee’s verse mirrors Glizzy’s, with the Louisville rapper spitting about how he needs proof that other rappers are hard before he can believe it.

Gee has been on a hot streak of features lately, last appearing on Future’s latest album, I Never Liked You. The CMG signee has been having a very successful 2022, and when talking to Ebro and Apple Music 1, the rapper shared that there could be a potential collaboration between him and fellow Louisville rapper Jack Harlow in the works.

“He got a lot of songs he ain’t put out that’s cold,” Gee said. “Jack could drop a tape with me and him. He is. I had to get my stuff together, but it’s time now. So it don’t look like he’s just doing his boy a favor. I’m ready now.”
