Jack Harlow is back with “Nail Tech,” his first release of 2022. And Yeat dropped his new album, 2 Alive, featuring the Young Thug-assisted track, “Outside.” Vince Staples, Gunna, and more also dropped new songs this week.

“Want It Bad” is a moody track that finds Kid Cudi singing about his thirst for living the good life. “All night, we gon’ live it up and do what we like/ Been so long, can’t deny, oh, this life, we will survive,” he sings over a fun, cosmic dance beat, produced by Pharrell Williams. “Want It Bad” was first premiered at NIGO’s debut collection for Kenzo’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection in Paris in January. The track will appear on NIGO’s album, I Know NIGO, which is slated for release on March 25.

Jack Harlow is back with “Nail Tech,” a spicy and triumphant track that finds the Louisville rapper bragging about his material wealth and designer brands. He also expresses a desire to want to achieve more, spitting, “I’m not on top of this shit yet, but I’m that guy though.” “Nail Tech” is Harlow’s first release of 2022 and comes on the heels of his Grammy nomination for his collaboration with Lil Nas X, “Industry Baby.”

“Outside” is a hype and rowdy song that unites emerging rapper Yeat with rap vet Young Thug. On the track, Yeats delivers a high0energy chorus as he brags about his luxurious lifestyle, while also taking shots at his enemies. Young Thug matches Yeat’s energy as he boasts about his overflowing pockets, spitting, “Oh, you rich? “Magic” is a hypnotic, upbeat track with a west coast vibe that finds Vince Staples rapping over a Mustard beat about his come-up. He often attributes his rise from the streets and gang activity to his life today as a work of magic. “Feeling like I’m floating to the ceiling, is it magic?/ Baby, tell me why you disappearin’, this is magic/ I won’t ever tell ‘em how I did it, it was magic/ Can you imagine?” Vince spits. “Magic” is the latest song from Vince Staples’ album, Ramona Park Broke My Heart.

Gunna’s winning streak continues with “Banking on Me,” an R&B-influenced track where he appeals to his softer side. On the track, Gunna speaks on a relationship in which he’s found the most loyal girl. In turn, he spoils her with luxurious items. “I love you in so many ways/ Don’t know why you never complain/ With you, I can never be shamed/ / And I usually never say, ‘Never’/ Oh shit, look at me today,” he sings.

On “Southside of the Moon,” Big K.R.I.T. shows love for his Southern roots, while also gushing over a woman who’s from New York but stays in Los Angeles. “She had gold chains, banger earrings and some gold rings/ Coulda killed me softly, but she let her soul sing/ Unplugged, I showed her it’s always better with a sub,” he raps. “Southside of the Moon” appears on K.R.I.T.’s new album Digital Roses Don’t Die.

After experiencing heartbreak, Baby Tate is back on the prowl and ready to use men at her disposal. “I’m finna put that nigga through Hell, I’m finna heat him/ Hot like a sauna, slipplin’ out the condom,” she raps. “S.H.O. (Sl*t Him Out)” was one of two singles that was released from Baby Tate this Friday.
