Radio Stations Reportedly Requested Alternate Version of Bhad Bhabie's "Bestie" Without Kodak Black

More info about the fallout from Kodak Black's decision to disrespect Lauren London shortly after Nipsey Hussle's death has arrived. The rapper said he would give London one year of "crying and shit" before making his move, prompting many radio stations to ban his music in light of the remarks.

Bhad Bhabie, otherwise known as Danielle Bregoli, released a Kodak-assisted track in February titled "Bestie." However, when her collaborator received a host of negative press, the circulation of "Bestie" was reportedly impacted. According to TMZ, several stations reached out directly to Bhabie's team and suggested that she record a version without Kodak. 

On Thursday, Bhabie signaled that she had taken their advice, when she released a new "Bestie" version, this time with the help of rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The outlet reported that Bhabie is hoping stations will notice her updated track, and start playing it on their platforms. 

In response to the report, a rep for Atlantic told Complex there are no issues between the two rappers and that Bhad Bhabie, "wanted to give radio alternative options for the song, so she had another bhad bich join her on the song."

Bhabie's new version of "Bestie" arrives as Kodak's legal issues continue piling up. The rapper's rape trial, in which he is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, has reportedly been delayed. Should he be convicted of the crime, he faces up to 30 years in prison. The rapper was also arrested in mid-April for weed and gun-related charges at the U.S.-Canada border.
