According to reporter Will Lee, a Chicago court clerk's office has received multiple calls from female fans of R. Kelly, inquiring as to how they can post his bond, which has been set for $100,000.

A court clerk just told me their office was receiving calls from female #RKelly fans wanting to know how to post bail for him. The love is real, I guess.

In a Twitter post Sunday, Lee reported on the bizarre tactic Kelly's fans are now resorting to. "A court clerk just told me their office was receiving calls from female #RKelly fans wanting to know how to post bail for him," he wrote. "The love is real, I guess."

At R. Kelly's bail hearing Saturday, Judge John Fitzgerald Lyke Jr., who called the allegations against the singer "disturbing," set the his bond at $1 million, $100,000 of which he would need to pay to be released from police custody prior to his trial. Kelly was unable to come up with the money, likely because his finances are a "mess," according to his attorney Steve Greenberg.

After it was reported that R. Kelly had to spend a second night in prison due to his financial setbacks, it appears as though the few remaining female fans of the singer took matters into their own hands. Greenberg stated that Kelly will likely be able to come up with money by Sunday, only 24 hours before his next scheduled court appearance.

During Saturday's hearing, it was also revealed that prosecutors have DNA evidence that links R. Kelly to one of his accusers. Should he be convicted for the ten counts of felony criminal sexual abuse he's been charged with, the alleged abuser could spend up to 70 years in prison
