International superstar Shakira got into a scuffle with a “gang” of wild boars and lost a handbag in the process.

On Wednesday Shakira took to her Instagram Stories, where she told her nearly 71 million followers that a pack of wild hogs confronted her and her 8-year-old son Milan while they were walking through a Barcelona park. She showed the viewers a tattered handbag, explaining she wrestled it back from the pigs.

“Look at how two wild boars which attacked me in the park have left my bag,” she said. “They were taking my bag to the woods with my phone inside. They’ve destroyed everything.”

The 44-year-old went on to say she was only able to get her belongings back because she had the courage to face the animals. “In the end they left the bag because I confronted them,” she said. She then said to her son, “Say how your mummy stood up to the wild boar.”

Neither Shakira nor her son was injured in the process, but they aren’t the only ones to have encountered the invasive animals. Shakira lives in the city with her soccer star partner Gerard Piqué, and many Barcelona residents have complained about boars over the years. Police logged 1,187 phone calls about boar trouble in 2016 alone, according to a report from the Guardian. The animals are known for eating trash and bothering tourists—and, evidently, pop stars—among other things.
