According to Hits Daily Double, Kirk will likely debut as the No. 1 album in the country. It's estimated to generate between 130,000-150,000 equivalent album units. This will give DaBaby a slight edge over Post Malone's Hollywood’s Bleeding. Of Kirk's activity, 7,000-9,000 will be in pure album sales while it amassed 160-180 million streams.
Kirk's success adds to DaBaby's magnificent year. The rapper leaped on to the scene with his breakthrough project, Baby on Baby. The record spurred hits like "Walker Texas Ranger," "Babysitter," and "Going Baby." It was his smash single "Suge" that grabbed the world's attention. He also booked collaborations with Lil Nas X, fellow freshman classmate, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lizzo.
