Pharrell and Scott Vener are paying homage to Prince today on their latest episode of OTHERtone. Pharrell and Vener decided to not feature a special guest in favor of a full hour dedicated to Prince’s catalogue. Songs like “Let’s Go Crazy,” “The Ballad of Dorothy Parker,” “The Beautiful Ones” and “Call My Name” are blended into a near-perfect mix. During their breaks, the duo speaks about how Prince is such an influential artist. Pharrell even admitted that he was an inspiration for many of his songs, while Verner is in awe that Prince was able to do every genre of music.
